We also show documentaries, concerning science of biology and life. Physiology and anatomical structures and functions in relations to the organisms. They aim at building a lookout on the real practice of knowledge of Biology. It gives chance to students to mould their desire to build a career on this ecstatic and phenomenal club.
We arrange and conduct study tours to various facilities and institutions, mostly being health institutions. It is learning and enjoying with a smile what we aim. This gives students/members of club to ask and get explanations from experts on this and that on the facts of life.
In Biology Club we also do seminars about current affairs of man and Biology as one of his component. To understand how we can use the knowledge of Biology to live our lives. This builds as strong bond and let members contribute and share to fulfill our motto.
“Biological Literacy is no longer for scientist, it has become a necessity for us all”
In this Club, members have been increasing, showing that the clubs involves members quite well.
Also the Participation of this club in the 2007 Clubs Day marked this club as a double winner in overall Clubs competitions and the true winner in Academic Clubs.
Best of all, Biology Club was the Overall winner in Big Day of Exhibitions last year, and it took the crown undoubtedly, only the precious year it was second behind their rivals.
A number of presentations about life, biology, science and nature are made. All are successful and brain important ingredients.
Documentaries are shown during Clubs time so as to boost gaining of new knowledge about man, nature, and science of him and his surroundings.
Quizzes are also there and there are great prizes won by members and groups which performed well enough. This all aims to “learn and enjoy” ego we have in our Club. We share this achievement with the whole of Loyola high school community in one way or the other.
